General Motors is moving its Cadillac brand headquarters from New York City back to the City of Warren. The automaker will move to the old Campbell Ewald building on Van Dyke, across from the GM Technical Center Campus.
The move means Cadillac employees will be closer to engineers and design teams at the Tech Center.
The announcement is hailed as great news for the city of Warren and for the state of Michigan. It reinforces the idea that Warren is a business-friendly community that goes out of its way to encourage more businesses to move here.
The relocation is expected to take place this spring. Which is perfect timing since the luxury automaker plans to roll out two new vehicles annually through 2020.
