This Sunday, October 11, residents are encouraged to bring their dog out to the Warren Farmers’ Market. The Warren Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting Dog Day at the Warren Farmers’ Market from 10 a.m. until noon. In addition to the regular vendors that will be at the market, there will be some pet friendly vendors on site as well. These vendors include PetValu, who will be doing a raffle and will have free goodies and coupons available, and Fuzzy Friends Grooming. Spark of Love Animal Rescue (SOLAR) will also be on site with pets available for adoption.
Dog Day is free to attend. Patrons are asked to park in the parking lot behind Chase Bank, which is adjacent to City Square. From there, the Parks & Rec staff will lead the dogs and their people on a walk around City Square and there will be goodies at the end of the walk. All dogs must be on a leash for their safety and the safety of others.
If you have questions about this fun event, please call the Warren Parks & Recreation Department at (586) 268-8400.
